Good skincare is a minefield, you could have the most efficient skincare routine with excellent quality products but if you have a poor diet, bad digestive system, impaired liver detoxification, excessive sun exposure, you smoke or have inherited genetic dispositions then it is unlikely to make a great difference. In a nutshell, you have to look after your inside in order to help you look after your skin.
Most people believe they use excellent quality skincare products. However, upon further investigation will realise that the majority of the products used will contain potentially harmful chemicals.

You may have been using these products for years and haven't noticed any changes or experienced any problems. Infact, the average woman uses 12 personal-care products each day, potentially exposing herself to approximately 168 untested chemicals and if continually used over time, could cause health concerns in later years.
Unfortunately, there are also skincare products which claim to be natural or organic and there is no law to guarantee that health and beauty products labelled natural or organic, are indeed that. At the moment, natural can mean just one natural ingredient and organic can mean as little at 1% organic content.
Products with the term "Hypo-Allergenic" used is purely a marketing term. It has very little substance as far as the safety of the product is concerned. If you think you are hypo-allergenic then it would be advisable to investigate the cause rather than accepting the condition. The same applies to sensitive skin, the cause is most likely environmental, dietary or indeed the chemicals you are currently using in your skincare products.
Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne, Cellulite, Acne Roseaca are all skin conditions that could have other factors which contribute to the condition. This could be diet related therefore, in order to make any difference it is important to address what is happening internally as well as externally.
Changing your skincare products to those products which contain ingredients that have been proven to help a condition, is a step in the right direction. Do not buy these products thinking you don't have to do anything else!
I would rather tailor make skincare products for you after an initial consultation from one of the therapies I offer. However I know this is not always possible and have therefore created some products whose ingredients I know work well together. I realise too that clients prefer certain scents and would be happy to adjust these to suit individual requirements.
